We love working with schools across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire and would be more than happy to have a conversation about how we can help you and your school on a case-by-case basis!

Here is a taste of what we can offer:

Book Lists and Recommendations
Our experienced booksellers can provide reading lists for titles that cover a wide range of areas including  reading for pleasure, classroom topics, library diversity or children's book club recommendations.

Discounts On Book Orders
For whole class reading sets, school leaver gifts, or library orders, we can offer up to 20% discount (negotiable depending on order quantity) and free delivery.

Author School Visits
Free of charge author events including talks, Q&A sessions and creative writing and illustration workshops.
All events are fully organised by The Novel House and the author’s book(s) are available for pupils to purchase on the day at a discounted price.

Pop-up Bookstalls
Let us bring the bookshop to you! We can provide pop-up book shops in your school for any special events. We have previously done them for school fairs, parents evenings and end of term celebrations.

Class Visits To The Shop
We can welcome small groups to the shop and cater their time as suits. For example, we could organise story time sessions for younger pupils or give older pupils an opportunity to pick their own book, with a helpful  bookseller on hand!

Bookseller Visits
A member of the The Novel House team can give a talk to pupils on topics such as the value of reading for  pleasure, bookselling, the publishing industry and being a small business owner.

World Book Day World Book Day 2026 will be held on 5 March, when children of all ages will come together to share the joy of reading for pleasure. We can run pop-up stalls, do assembly reading sessions, or arrange author visits if you want to join in with the celebrations. Please get in touch to find out how we can support your school this year.
